Mr. James R. Gibbs

Mr. James R. Gibbs has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since April 1999.  Mr. Gibbs retired as President & Chief Executive Officer of the Company on December 31, 2008.  He joined Frontier in February 1982 and was elected a Director of the Company in 1985.  He was named President & Chief Operating Officer in January 1987 and assumed the additional position of Chief Executive Officer in April 1992.  Mr. Gibbs is a member of the Board of Directors of Smith International, Inc., a public oil field service company; an advisory director of Frost National Bank, Houston; and serves on the Board of Trustees of Southern Methodist University.
